I’m Katherine Alexander 亞天恩, assistant professor of Chinese in the Department of Asian Languages and Civilizations at the University of Colorado, Boulder. My Ph.D. is from the East Asian Languages and Civilizations department at the University of Chicago.
I study Chinese literature, a sensible combination of my love of literature and the language skills I developed in through my childhood in Taiwan.
From September 2012-August 2013, I lived in Taipei, Taiwan on a Fulbright Student Grant. I blogged about my experiences during that year at 天恩寶卷 The Precious Scroll of Heavenly Grace.
